Keeping It Cool
Air Cooling dissipates heat by cooling the surface area of an object through increased air flow or increasing the object's surface area. Cooling through additional surface area (often referred to as a heatsink) is the method of tightly attaching additional surface area to the object to dissipate heat, thus cooling the object. Increasing air flow can be accomplished by using a fan to blow air onto the surface of the object. The air must be cooler than the surface it is cooling in order to efficiently cool the object.
